You can have logs from HP and DELL servers, Veeam backups, IIS logs, Active Directory, DNS, Windows logs, etc. in it. I always do this through a proxy to keep my plugins up to date. I think you should do the same if you have the conditions.
Note: After the complete installation of the software console, be sure to set the time zone correctly.
