Kerio Connect 10.0.7 (Build 8784)

Kerio Connect is an on-premises (or partner-hosted) mail server and collaboration platform aimed at small and mid-sized organizations. Alongside standard email, it bundles shared calendars, contacts, tasks, notes, and instant messaging into a single package, with support for Microsoft ActiveSync push to mobile devices and broad client compatibility across Outlook, IMAP, and POP-based mail clients. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and is positioned specifically as a lighter-weight, lower-cost alternative to larger enterprise mail platforms a reasonable fit for IT teams that want groupware functionality without the overhead of a full Exchange or Microsoft 365 deployment.

Kerio Technologies was acquired by GFI Software in January 2017, and Kerio Connect has been maintained and distributed under the GFI umbrella since today marketed as GFI KerioConnect. That acquisition history matters practically: official downloads, licensing, and support all route through GFI’s infrastructure now, not a standalone Kerio.com storefront.

What’s in the 10.0.7 p1 (Build 8784) Release

Kerio Connect 10.0.7 p1, build 8784, was released on April 3, 2025. It’s a patch release rather than a major feature update, and its changelog reflects that a set of targeted fixes and modest enhancements rather than a structural overhaul:

  • DKIM control added to the local WebAdmin UI — previously this was only configurable through GFI AppManager, so this release brings that email-authentication control in-house for admins managing a server directly.
  • Read receipt fix for Outlook with KOFF (the Kerio Outlook Connector) in environments with multiple mailboxes configured.
  • Email deduplication mechanism to prevent duplicate messages reaching users who belong to more than one mailing list.
  • Printing fix for Webmail, resolving an issue where printed pages came out nearly blank.
  • ActiveSync log warning fix for meetings scheduled without attendees.
  • UI consistency fixes, including corrections to the domain alias menu and clearer messaging in Session Security settings.
  • Draft-saving notifications added to WebMail.
  • Consistency alignment between GFI AppManager and the local Kerio Connect GUI for user creation and archived-folder settings.

None of these are described as critical security fixes in GFI’s own release notes this is best characterized as a stability and usability patch on top of the broader 10.0.7 line, worth knowing if you’re deciding whether it’s worth a maintenance window on its own or better bundled with a later update.
