Veeam Backup & Replication 13.0.2

Veeam Backup & Replication 13.0.2.29 is the latest cumulative update release for the Veeam v13 product line, officially released on May 27, 2026. This release is a critical security and stability update that addresses two newly disclosed CVEs, resolves a broad range of platform issues across repositories, guest processing, agents, and the remote console, and includes updated Veeam Agent builds for Windows, Linux, IBM AIX, and Oracle Solaris.

Whether you are performing a fresh deployment, updating an existing v13 installation, or upgrading from Veeam v12.3.x, build 13.0.2.29 is the currently recommended production release as of June 2026.

This version will support VCF version 9.1x and the ability to connect to Cloud platforms has been optimized and faster.

Several very dangerous security bugs have been fixed in this version/update, so please migrate to this.
In this version, Checksum files are checked to make sure that no changes have been made to them. But if you have sufficient resources and high-speed disks on your servers, we recommend Migrate to this

Resolved Issues — High Availability

  • Creating a High Availability cluster no longer resets the PostgreSQL OOMScoreAdjust setting, which previously increased the risk of the PostgreSQL service being terminated by the OS under memory pressure.

Resolved Issues — NFS Repository

  • Resetting the NFS share context no longer resets the NFS directory cache settings configured by the deployment service.

Resolved Issues — Object Storage Repository (Azure)

  • Checkpoint removal on Azure-based object storage repositories no longer fails with an InvalidQueryParameterValue error caused by an incorrectly null VersionId parameter.
  • Operations with Azure Capacity Tier and Archive Tier repositories have been fixed following a deprecated Microsoft endpoint that caused failures.

Resolved Issues — Data Domain Repository

  • DDBoost credentials are now properly validated before repository availability is checked.
  • Added support for using multiple DDBoost credentials with a single Data Domain system, enabling per-repository credential isolation and separate Storage Unit ownership (previously all repositories on the same Data Domain system had to share one credential set).
